Working with the same family over time — through so many seasons, milestones, and changes — has shaped us more than we can explain. Annie and Davis have trusted us to tell their story again and again, and in doing so, they’ve helped us find our voice as photographers. Their sessions have taught us to slow down, to notice the little things, and to chase emotion over perfection. Our style has grown more intentional, more grounded, and more connected because of them. It’s one thing to take a beautiful photo, it’s another to feel a story unfold through your camera, year after year.

We met Annie and Davis in 2020 when Ezra photographed their engagement. Back then, we had no idea what was ahead, just that there was something special about them — the kind of quiet joy and steady love that photographs effortlessly. We captured their wedding the following year, and little did we know that would be the first of many moments we’d get to witness through our lens.

We have captured family milestones that have been an honor to witness, and watching this family of five move together with such warmth and connection was nothing short of incredible.

There’s something truly special about being there from the very beginning — capturing a couple’s engagement session in Northern Michigan, watching their story unfold, and then photographing their wedding day. We’ve learned that the more time we spend with a couple, the more personal and meaningful the images become. It’s not just about showing up for the big day — it’s about building trust, noticing the in-between moments, and telling the full story from start to finish. That’s why we’re so passionate, because every love story deserves to be documented with heart, from the first “yes” to the last dance of the night.

A special part of their wedding day was getting to work alongside Elizabeth K Salon, who brought their magic to hair and makeup with so much care and talent. We’ve always admired their work, and it was such a joy to collaborate with talented vendors who truly get the heart behind what we all do. That’s one of the reasons we love this job so much, it brings people together. Friends, creatives, families, and entire communities — all showing up to celebrate something beautiful. Getting to be part of that is something we’ll never take for granted.

From casual sessions in every season, to meaningful portraits before they said goodbye to their sweet pup, Luna, we've been there to preserve the moments that matter most. We’ve taken photos in all kinds of settings over the years from cozy fall backdrops and summer light so golden it looked like a dream. Through every season and stage, Annie and Davis have let us in.

Since then, we’ve had the honor of documenting their lives through every chapter — the big milestones and all the everyday moments in between. When they welcomed their first son, Dallas, we felt like we were celebrating right alongside them.

Then came Luelle — joyful, expressive, and the perfect addition to their growing family.

And now, in 2025, they’ve welcomed their third beautiful daughter, Lilah.

We’re not just here for the posed moments, we’re here for the full journey. From engagement to parenthood, and all the quiet magic in between. Every time we photograph a couple’s engagement, we find ourselves imagining what their future might look like. What their family might become. Who might be holding their hand five or ten years down the road.
